Aurora is an award-winning director with a slate of genre features and TV projects in development, including TIPPING POINT, with BFI Vision Awardee Lunar Lander Films.
After winning The Pitch at Pinewood Aurora shot ambitious sci-fi short PULSAR starring David Gyasi (INTERSTELLAR) and Jessie Buckley (WILD ROSE). The film has screened and won numerous awards at 30 festivals in the last 10 months and will be distributed by sci-fi channel DUST. In 2017 her short film STRUCK, produced by 104 Films, screened at Sydney, Edinburgh and Cork Film Festival before being released online by Shortoftheweek.com.
Directors UK commissioned her suspenseful short MURMUR, which won many awards including Breakthrough Filmmaker at The Smalls. She also directed supernatural short SHADES OF LIVING, funded by the UKFC, Sci-fi Nokia Short DANIEL, which premièred at Edinburgh International Film Festival and made Epic Award short LIFE ON THE LINE.
Aurora is writing new story ideas for the BBC radio’s Dr Who show at Big Finish.
Aurora has participated in BAFTA CREW x BFI NETWORK, Reykjavik Talent Lab, Filmonomics, Creative England’s Talent Centre, Cinesisters, VFX Script to Screen Ireland, Screen Yorkshire’s Triangle and WFTV’s mentoring scheme.
